What is an Apostolic Plan

In 2024, Jesuits USA East completed the process to create a comprehensive Apostolic Plan to assist the Provincial and province staff in deploying human, physical, and financial resources for the greater praise and service of God and to more fully live out the four Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Global Society of Jesus.

Based on thoughtful analysis of our social, cultural, and religious context and relying on demographic and financial studies, Jesuits and lay colleagues engaged in communal discernment in a spirit of availability, humility, and freedom. The Apostolic Plan born from these endeavors now guides our mission and ministries for the coming decade and beyond.
